Keeping the Holiday Spirit

It has been a challenging year! Moving our store location, running to Naples, Florida every month for a client project, juggling projects here on the home front, and remodeling the master bathroom!

Now we are decorating for the holidays! Everywhere!! The store is full of Christmas spirit, Clients are booking their dates for their home decorating needs, shopping for Christmas presents, and keeping a steady flow of projects for 2024!

As I wake up every morning, my head is spinning with all that has been completed in 2023 and how I am going to be ready for 2024! Am I ready to tackle another year? Right now, it is exhausting to think that I would do it all over again. Physically and mentally, I am not prepared. Emotionally I am not prepared. But…spiritually I will receive the power that is needed to press forward with new creative ideas and the guidance of my family and friends.

Every year it seems that I should give myself permission to start a new chapter in my life. Slow down, calm down and “smell the flowers!” What can I say! Sounds all great to me, but then I get some sleep and emotionally decompress, then off and running I go again!! Especially now…it’s Christmas season and I feel the Spirit. Yes, the emotional spirit and also the Holy Spirit.

This season I can feel so much gratitude of the work that has been given to me and the opportunities to complete wonderful and large projects that have helped me emotionally and of course, financially. So many years I have worked so hard to achieve the results that I am now seeing. I feel honored in many ways to be able to share my creative mind in helping others with their dreams to make a special place to live. It is my passion and my desire to make these dreams a reality for them.

So, as I look at how I started this “Keeping the Holiday Spirit,” it reminds me that no matter how hard we all strive, emotionally, physically and mentally, we will see at the end of the year, it has all been worth to conquer.

Keep the Holiday Spirit!!
