Carol begins each interior design project with a careful examination of her client’s needs, space requirements and overall lifestyle and use of space. Listening to her clients and exchanging ideas is crucial to each successful interior decorating project. Carol Guest Interiors initial consultation is charged on an hourly basis. The designer will interview each client regarding their project priorities, expectations, time lines and budgets.
Our pricing structure is based on hourly fees for floor plans, consultation and project coordination. Larger projects may be charged on a square footage basis depending on the type of project. Fees can be paid weekly as they acrue or be taken from a monthly retainer paid in advance. Hourly fees involving Carol Guest (the owner) begin at $150.00 per hour, staff designers and consultants are billed at $95.00 per hour. Purchases are based on size of packages and quantity of items. Each project is evaluated in accordance with budget, size and client’s needs. Deposits and/or retainers are required on all projects. All special orders are 100% non-refundable if not from stock.
Once the client and the designer have an approved plan in place, fees are established based on the final project requirements.
Projects outside of Atlanta, Georgia:
Carol Guest Interiors considers all projects in any area. Accommodations, Traveling Expenses & Meals are provided by client.
